For most Indian prescriptions there is a generic with the same active composition at a fraction of the branded price. Patients rarely know it exists, and the counter has no reason to mention it. The saving is real but it sits behind a knowledge gap and a habit — you hand over a prescription, you take what you’re given.
MediSoldier closes that gap at the point of ordering. It reads the prescription, finds the bioequivalent alternative, shows the patient both prices, and routes the order to a licensed pharmacy nearby. The hard part was never the delivery — it was making substitution trustworthy enough that someone would accept a different box for the same illness.

WhatsApp-first ordering
The primary channel is a chat thread, not an install. Patients send a prescription photo or type what they need — no download, no account setup, no learning curve for the demographic that needs this most.
Prescription capture
Photo upload with human verification in the loop. A prescription is a legal document and a handwriting problem at once; anything the system reads with low confidence goes to a person before it becomes an order.
Substitution engine
Branded drugs matched to generics on identical active composition, strength and form. Composition equivalence is the rule — the system will not offer a swap it cannot justify field by field.
Pharmacy fulfilment network
Orders route to licensed neighbourhood pharmacies by serviceable pincode, which is what makes same-day delivery possible without a warehouse of our own.
Health record storage
Prescriptions and medical documents held encrypted, organised per patient, and available for the repeat order — chronic medication is a subscription problem wearing a transaction’s clothes.
Native apps
iOS and Android for patients who want order history, saved records and reorder in one place, sharing the same backend as the chat channel rather than forking the product.
Trust is the feature.
- Substitution is only offered where active composition, strength and dosage form match exactly. A saving is worth nothing if the patient has reason to doubt the box.
- Fulfilment stays with licensed pharmacies. The platform routes and records; dispensing remains where the law and the pharmacist already are.
- Health records are encrypted at rest and scoped per patient. Prescription data is the most sensitive thing the system touches and it is treated that way by default.
- The channel meets people where they are. WhatsApp removed the install, the signup and the tutorial — three places an older patient quietly gives up.
