The Problem-Solving Room · Sodiarc JR

What if one of your biggest business problems could be solved with technology?

Bring one process that is slow, manual, expensive or error-prone. We’ll put it on the table and work through it together — whether the answer is AI, automation, better software, or simply a better process.

Limited to 8–10 businesses. Seats are given, not sold.

No presentations. No sales pitches. Just real problems and practical discussion.

Why this exists

We’re not here to talk about AI.

Every business has processes that evolved over time.

  • Someone maintains an Excel sheet because the system doesn’t quite do what they need.
  • Someone checks the same documents every morning.
  • Someone copies information from email into another system.
  • Someone spends two days preparing a report that should take two hours.

The interesting question isn’t “Where can we use AI?” It’s:

“Why are we still doing this manually?”

That question is much easier to answer out loud, with other people who run businesses, than alone at a desk. This roundtable exists to ask it properly — one problem at a time, in a room small enough that every problem actually gets looked at.

What to bring

Bring one thing that shouldn’t be this difficult.

01

Too much manual work

A process that requires people to repeatedly enter, copy, check or reconcile information.

02

Too many errors

A process where mistakes keep happening because humans are doing repetitive work.

03

Too much waiting

Something that takes days because information has to move between people or systems.

04

Too much Excel

A critical business process held together by spreadsheets, emails and WhatsApp.

05

Too much checking

A person repeatedly reviewing documents, transactions, requests or data.

06

Something you simply wish worked better

It doesn’t have to fit a category. Bring the problem.

The format

How the roundtable works.

  1. 01

    Bring a problem

You describe one real process from your business.

  2. 02

    Put it on the table

We map what actually happens today.

  3. 03

    Solve it together

The room explores different approaches and challenges assumptions.

  4. 04

    Decide what’s actually worth doing

AI, automation, software, process change — or nothing.

There is no requirement to leave with an AI solution.

If AI isn’t the right answer, we’ll say so. Quite often the honest answer is a change to the process, a small integration between two systems you already own, or leaving it exactly as it is.

Expectations

A few things this isn’t.

  • Not an AI seminar

No slides explaining what an LLM is.

  • Not a sales pitch

Sodiarc isn’t there to sell everyone a project.

  • Not a networking event

    The conversation is the event.

  • Not technical

You don’t need a technology background.

  • Not a product demo

There is no product to buy.

  • Not a paid workshop

No ticket and no sponsors. The table isn’t for sale.

It’s a room full of people who run businesses, trying to make those businesses work better.

An example

What an hour at the table sounds like.

A business owner says

“Our finance team receives hundreds of invoices every month. They download them, check the PO, verify the amount, enter information into the ERP and then send them for approval.”

The room asks
  • How many invoices?
  • How many people?
  • How long does each take?
  • Where do errors happen?
  • What happens when information doesn’t match?
  • What systems are involved?

Only then do we ask whether AI or automation makes sense.

Where a conversation like that can land
Document extraction Rules-based validation ERP integration Human approval for exceptions

That is one illustration, not a promise. A different business with the same description could easily come out of the room with a change to who approves what, and no software at all.

Who’s at the table

This room is for people who run the business.

  • Founders
  • Business owners
  • CEOs
  • COOs
  • Operations heads
  • Finance heads
  • Business unit leaders

You don’t need to be technical. In fact, we’d prefer that you aren’t.

The person who knows where a process actually hurts is the person who owns the outcome — not the person who knows what the software is called. You don’t need to know anything about AI or technology to get value from this table.

Real
problems

We deliberately keep the group small. Everyone should have enough space to put a problem on the table, ask questions and contribute.

Nothing changes hands. What a seat costs you is two hours and one honest problem — which is the only currency the table actually runs on.

What is said at the table stays at the table. Nobody is asked to share numbers they would rather not, and nothing is recorded.

Sodiarc JR

We build operational software, automation and applied AI for businesses. Our job is to understand the problem first and decide what technology — if any — actually belongs in the solution.

This is a deliberately small discussion. Tell us a little about yourself and the problem you’d bring to the room.

There’s nothing to pay. We choose the room by the problems people bring, which is why we ask rather than take bookings.
